Jodhpur

We spent just the day in Jodhpur- arrived at 4:30am, left at 2:30pm. A lot of hanging around, waiting for stuff to open, so after some time at the train station we walked down to the city and sat at a rooftop restaurant and had a very early breakfast. We then went up to the fort, which is the thing to be done/seen. It was pretty impressive, and with an audio guide so we learnt a lot. Jodhpur is the blue city, cause some of the houses/buildings are painted blue, and it was cool to get a view of this from the fort at the top of the city. We had lunch at a very cool guest house- the closest I've seen to a western style backpackers here in India- very relaxing. And that was it, back to get our backpacks and on yet another bus again, YAY! Non A/C, 5 hours in the sun, love it!

Pasamos solo el dia en Jodhpur- llegamos a las 4:30am y nos fuimos a las 2:30pm. Pasamos mucho timepo haciendo tiempo, esperando a que abriera todo, asi que despues de pasar tiempo en la estacion de tren, caminamos a la ciudad y nos sentamos en un restaurant en una terraza para un desayuno muy temprano. Despues fuimos al fuerte, que es lo que hay para hacer/ver aca. Muy bueno, con audioguia asi que aprendimos bastante. Jodhpur es la ciudad azul, porque algunas casas/edificios estan pintados de azul, asi que muy lindo poder ver esto desde arriba, desde el fuerte. Almorzamos en un hotel copado, con mucha onda, lo mas parecido que vi en India a la onda que tienen los hostels/albergues occidentales- muy relajadas. Y eso es todo, buscamos las mochilas y otra vez a tomarnos un omnibus nuevamente, yuppie! Sin aire acondicionado, 5 horas en el sol, buenisimo!
