The 10,000 Buddha Monastery/ El Monasterio de los 10.000 Budas

No, I didn't count them, but it wouldn't surprise me if there were 10,000 Buddhas in that place actually. Slept in, and didn't leave the apartment until after 3pm. I thought it was a wasted day, but I made it in time to the 10,000... etc place and it was great. Had this path with statues lining all the way up, bloody hot day as usual and I thought I was gonna die by the time I got to the top (I really rushed, cause I arrived at the train stop at 4:45pm and I thought the Monastery closed at 5- luckily it was closing later so I had plenty of time). Place was cool, there were even some wild monkeys at the top, jumping around from one statue to another- yay, that saves me the trip especially to see the monkeys somewhere else! From there I went to the night markets on the Kowloon side- bought some stuff I needed- binoculars, spare battery for the camera, a watch. I just got back to the apartment a while ago now, and have been spying on Sebastien's neighbours with the binoculars- nothing interesting though, but I'll keep you posted.

No, no los conte, pero no me sorprenderia en lo mas minimo que hubieran 10.000 Budas en ese lugar! Me desperte tarde, y no sali del depto hasta despues de las 3pm. Pense que iba a ser un dia ya perdido, pero por suerte llegue a tiempo a este monasterio, muy bueno. Tenia un sendero con estatuas en los costados todo a lo largo, todo en subida. Calor de morirse como de costumbre aca, y pense que me iba a morir del calor en la subida (porque tuve que subir bien rapido- llegue a la estacion de tren a las 4:45 y pense que la entrada cerraba a las 5- por suerte no, cerraba mas tarde asi que todo bien). Muy lindo, chiquito, y hasta vi monos salvajes que estaban saltando de una estatua a otra, muy graciosos (esto fue un bonus, y me ahorro tener que ir otro dia a otro lugar especificamente para ver los monos). De ahi fui a una feria que hacen de noche por la zona de Kowloon, porque tenia que comprar algunas cosas- un reloj, binoculares, y bateria extra para la camara de fotos. Acabo de volver al depto hace un rato, y estuve espiando a los vecinos de Sebastien con los binoculares- nada interesante, pero les aviso si veo algo que valga la pena mencionar.
