Back to the Sambodromo!!!/De Vuelta al Sambodromo!!!

The guy who rented out the apartment to Guille y Vicente in Copacabana was Swedish and very meticulous and formal. He sat us down and proceeded to give us detailed information on what to do and see in Rio, paying particular attention to safety and to expensive restaurants, and giving us precise days and times on when we should do everything... he had even printed out the weather forecast for the days of our stay for us!! And all we could think about was how hungry we were and that we wanted to go and get some dinner. But something good did come out of all that! He told us that that night the 6 winning Escolas the Samba from Carnival were going to parade again at the Sambodromo!
So when we managed to free ourselves from him, we went out for dinner and had fejoiada, a very typical Brazilian meal (rice, black beans, different sorts of meats), and after that, off to the Sambodromo!
By this time it was already about 1am, so the parade has started like 4 hours ago. On the metro we met some of the people who were parading later on in the night, with all their costumes, so we had our photos taken with them, and one of them was so nice he insited I take as a present the belt from his costume, what an honour!
So we got off the metro and had several of the not-so-legal ticket sellers offering us tickets. One wanted 40 reais for each ticket, but finally settled for 10reais each, considering it was 1:30am by then and the show was half over. So off we went, happy as, with tickets for 10reais!!! It was sector 13, which is basically the same location as sector 6 were I was last week, just on the other side of the Sambodromo.
It was great, what can I say, it´s such an amazing thing to watch and experience!!! I couldn´t believe I was there again for a second time, and the guys hadn´t expected to be there at all! We stayed for a couple of hours only, as the guys were tired and jetlagged, we watched 1 full Escola de Samba and part of another one, but it was enough to give them an idea of what it´s all about and to feel the atmosphere. So by the time we went to bed it was after 4am. What a great night!!
