Finally made it to Goa. It's like a mini holiday within the big traveling- cause as everyone knows, traveling and holidaying are very different things. So yeah, I'm giving myself a short holiday to have a rest from all the hard work of the past 2 months of traveling:)
I took a local bus, 2 trains, a rickshaw, then another local bus, and shortly after 9am was in Palolem (almost 18 hours all up). It's one of the beaches in Southern Goa. Beach, restaurants and huts all along the beach, rocks to climb and lay down on, beautiful sunset, perfect temperature water. It's still India, which means people coming over to offer you jewellery, clothes, boat trip, whatever, but it's not too bad. It was a mostly relaxing day- eating, reading, pottering around and swimming.
Finalmente llegue a Goa. Es como unas mini vacaciones dentro del gran viaje- porque como todo el mundo sabe, irse de viaje y de vacaciones son dos cosas muy diferentes. Asi que si, me organize unas vacaciones cortas para descansar del esfuerzo y trabajo de los ultimos 2 meses de viaje:)
Me tome un colectivo local, 2 trenes, un rickshaw, otro colectivo local, y poco despues de las 9am estaba en Palolem (casi 18 horas en total). Es una de las playas en el sur de Goa. Playa, restaurantes y puestos todo a lo largo de la playa, rocas para trepar y descansar, atardecer increible, agua a temperatura perfecta. Pero es India, lo que implica gente que viene y te ofrece bijouterie, ropa, paseo en bote, lo que sea, pero no demasiado molestos. Fue un dia totalmente relajado- comiendo, leyendo, dando vueltas y nadando.
